Bank connections
Bank authentication is handled through Plaid. ICMM does not receive or store your bank username or password. Server-side connection tokens are used to request permitted account and transaction data from Plaid.
Help & product security
These pages describe the current product behavior in plain language: what ICMM stores, what it does not do, how billing works, and how to get help.
Security & data
Bank authentication is handled through Plaid. ICMM does not receive or store your bank username or password. Server-side connection tokens are used to request permitted account and transaction data from Plaid.
CSV and searchable PDF statements are processed during the request. ICMM stores confirmed parsed transaction records, import metadata, and a SHA-256 fingerprint used to prevent duplicate imports; it does not retain the raw statement file. PDF extraction must be previewed and confirmed, and scanned/image-only PDFs are not OCR-imported.
Direct Premium checkout and billing management use Stripe-hosted Checkout and Billing Portal sessions. ICMM does not collect card details in its own billing form.
Organization administrators can manage sponsorship, seats, work domains, invitations, and membership status. The employer interface does not expose a sponsored user's personal financial records.
Billing & access
If you subscribe directly, Settings provides a Manage billing action that opens Stripe's Billing Portal for your Stripe customer record.
While ICMM is running Plaid Sandbox, checkout is intentionally blocked unless Stripe is also in test mode.
If an employer or organization sponsors your Premium access, ICMM shows the sponsorship instead of presenting direct subscriber billing controls. Sponsorship does not give that organization access to your personal finances.
Account deletion
Self-service deletion is deliberately multi-step so an accidental click cannot erase your account.
Deleting ICMM does not erase records that your bank, Plaid, Stripe, or another independent provider is required or permitted to retain under its own policies.
Frequently asked questions
No. Bank sign-in happens through Plaid. ICMM stores the provider connection token it needs to refresh your linked account data on the server, but not your bank username or password.
The current CSV importer reads the file during the request, saves the parsed transaction records and an import fingerprint, and does not retain the raw CSV file. CSV files are limited to 5 MB. PDF statement import is not available yet.
No. ICMM can organize your financial activity, help you plan, monitor connected activity, and show follow-through evidence, but it does not send bill, loan, card, or bank-transfer payments on your behalf.
No. The employer administration area manages seats, domains, invitations, and membership status. It does not expose transactions, balances, debts, categories, Money Guard alerts, Control Plan commitments, or other personal financial information.
Signed-in direct subscribers can open Settings and choose Manage billing. ICMM creates a Stripe Billing Portal session for that customer, where Stripe provides the available billing and cancellation controls. Employer-sponsored Premium is not billed to the sponsored user.
In Settings, open Delete account & ICMM data. Self-service deletion requires your confirmed email, the exact confirmation phrase, and a final confirmation. ICMM first ends identifiable direct Stripe billing and removes linked Plaid Items, then removes your ICMM financial data and login.
Print / Save as PDF uses your current ICMM page and removes the workspace navigation for printing. Smart PDF creates a cleaner data-first document: Share-safe mode keeps useful totals and trends while omitting many merchant, creditor, account, bill-event, and action-level names; Detailed mode includes more page-level detail. Excel is the editable full-data export and should be treated as the most sensitive option.
No. Money Guard highlights recorded activity and conditions that may deserve attention. It deliberately distinguishes bank evidence, user confirmations, and lender-side evidence, and it does not treat a label or balance change as proof that a creditor allocated or settled a payment.
Contact & feedback
Signed-in users can also use the Feedback button in the workspace for bugs, confusing experiences, feature ideas, billing/account feedback, or general comments.
Never send passwords, bank credentials, full account numbers, Plaid access tokens, or other authentication secrets in a support message.
